Physics classroom dedicated to Robert M. Edmund

Marisa Edmund, Georgetown alum and Chairman of the Board and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for Edmund Optics, recently visited the physics department to see the newly dedicated physics lecture room in Regents Hall. The room was dedicated to Marisa’s father, Robert M. Edmund (B’70), former CEO of Edmund Optics, in recognition of his strong support of Georgetown and the Department of Physics. The department has benefitted for many years from generous equipment donations from Edmund Optics which support the teaching labs and bolster our research capabilities.
