Physics department to host summer REU program

The physics department has been selected to host a Research Experiences for Undergraduates program. Students from around the country will spend the summer at Georgetown engaging in focused research projects in the area of materials physics, exploring the role of science and scientists in the arena of public policy, and participating in professional development activities. The program is funded by the National Science Foundation.
