The Georgetown chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) recently won a 2023-24 Future Faces of Physics Award from the National SPS. Georgetown’s proposal, developed by physics majors Amada Paris (C’25) and Cecilia Ochoa (C’24), was focused on organizing events to bring together students, faculty, and staff for a discussion on how to improve the culture at Georgetown physics and physics as a whole.
