Undergrads present at APS conference

Four undergraduate physics majors presented posters at the annual meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Physical Society, held at Rutgers University Dec 3-5. Jojo Farina showed work he has been doing in the Paranjape lab on “Thermal Characteristics of Polycaprolactone Films for Triggered Drug Delivery Release. Bradley Fugetta, who was mentored by Prof. Yin and Prof. A. Liu, presented his work on “Machine Learning Magnetic Parameters from Hysteresis Loops.” Sophie Taylor and Ugomma Ugwu-Uche, both from the Van Keuren lab, had posters entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of Polystyrene Nanocapsules” and “Creating Liquid-core Polymer Nanoparticles Using Flash Nanoprecipitation” respectively.
