Students present at regional APS conference

Several Georgetown physics students presented their research at the annual meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Physical Society, held at Penn State University Dec 2-4. Graduate student Eleni Hughes gave a talk on “A novel polymer nanoparticle treatment for acute kidney injury”. Junior Sophie Taylor also gave a talk about her research on “Liquid Core Nanocapsule Formation Using Flash Nanoprecipitation”, and junior Harper Cartwright presented a poster entitled “Small Molecule Encapsulation in H₂O₂ Reactive Nanoparticles”.
