Students awarded APS grant for Women in Physics group

Graduate students Eleni Hughes, Christina Daniel, and Shichen Wang have received a grant from the American Physical Society’s Committee on the Status of Women in Physics (https://www.aps.org/about/governance/committees/cswp/index.cfm (new window)) to launch the Georgetown Women in Physics Group (GUWiP). GUWiP’s mission is to promote the inclusion of women and gender minorities in physics by providing mentorship opportunities, career development, and diversity education for members and our community.
