Physics major wins SPS scholarship

Cecilia Ochoa, a rising senior physics major and co-president of our local chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), was recently awarded an SPS – Google scholarship. This $2500 scholarship supports “passionate physics and astronomy students as they pursue their dreams. This award seeks to aid undergraduate students with the potential and intention for continued scholastic success who are in need or have overcome significant obstacles.” Awardees will be connected to Google through special events.
