Peter Olmsted and Amy Liu elected to APS Council

Peter Olmsted and Amy Liu have been elected to the American Physical Society’s Council of Representatives. The Council advises the APS Board on all matters of science and membership. Prof. Olmsted will represent the Division of Soft Matter (DSOFT). Prof. Liu will represent the Division of Computational Physics (DCOMP) and the Topical Group on Data Science (GDS), succeeding Prof. Jim Freericks, whose four-year term as DCOMP Councilor concluded in 2023.
