Visit from St. Kevin’s College, Melbourne, Australia

The physics department recently hosted a group of 40 high school students from St. Kevin’s College in Melbourne, Australia. The students were making a science-themed visit to the US, including stops in NY, DC and Florida. The purpose of their visit to Georgetown was to give them a taste of university life in the US. During their visit, they got lab tours from physics faculty and grad students, as well as a tour of campus and a visit to the Heyden Observatory.
