Students awarded 2016 SPS National Internships

Georgetown physics majors Isabel Binamira (C’18) and Marissa Murray (C’18) are among twelve students from across the country selected by the Society of Physics Students (SPS) for its 2016 National Internship program. SPS National Interns are placed in research, policy, and outreach positions in a variety of science organizations in the Washington, DC area. Isabel is interested in science education, and she is excited to be working on public outreach at the American Physical Society. Marissa is interning at the American Institute of Physics, working with the team that produces the FYI Bulletin of Science Policy News.
