Physics major awarded Clare Boothe Luce undergraduate research award

Physics major Grace Maglieri (C’19) has been awarded a Clare Boothe Luce Undergraduate Research Award. This award will support Grace’s work in the lab of Prof. Van Keuren, where she is developing a method for using solvatochromic dyes to characterize interactions between solvents, polymers and powders. The aim of the research is to provide a robust method for choosing solvents, surfactants and polymers to enable good dispersion of powders in films.
