Physics faculty members recognized at patent award ceremony

Four physics faculty members were among the inventors honored at the 2015 Patent Award Ceremony sponsored by the Georgetown Office of Technology Commercialization. Research projects of Profs. Ed Van Keuren, Mak Paranjape, Paola Barbara, and Amy Liu formed the basis of three US patents issued during the 2013 and 2014 calendar years.  Former graduate students Changbao Ma and Yian Liu are also inventors on these patents.
