Georgetown wins a $6.9 M grant for construction of the New Science Center

Led by faculty from the Physics and Chemistry departments, Georgetown has won a $6.9 million dollar grant that will help with the construction of the New Science Center (NSC). The grant will fund the Institute for Soft Matter Synthesis and Metrology, I(SM)2, a special research facility to be contained with the NSC. The long-awaited construction of the building will begin on Feb. 1. For more details, see NIST awards.
