This event, now in its sixth year, had participation from dozens of organizations including several other universities, NASA, the American Geophysical Union, Chandra X-ray Center/Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, and the US Naval Observatory.  It featured solar, optical, and radio telescope observations of the Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn as well as hands-on activities, demonstrations, and a planetarium show with a portable blow-up dome. Georgetown Physics had a lively and well-attended booth, with a number of demonstrations showing the basics of the creation and propagation of electromagnetic radiation.
