First Annual Physics Department 5K

This weekend, the Physics Department came together for a 5K. Undergraduates, grad students, and professors alike ran the 3.1 miles on the gorgeous Capital Crescent Trail. Physics major Sahli Negassi zoomed through the route, finishing first, followed by Michael Connolly and Ty Swanson. It was a great way to bring the community together on a bright Sunday morning. The event was organized by the Georgetown Society of Physics Students and is due to become an annual event.
