Congratulations to the GU physics class of 2017! During commencement weekend, faculty and staff celebrated with graduating students and their families and awarded this year’s undergraduate physics medals. Shuyang (Harry) Han received the Kidwell Medal for outstanding academic achievement in physics, Nick Quirk received the Treado Medal for excellence in physics coursework, research, and service to the department, and Nick Chapman received the Undergraduate Research Award for his senior thesis on algorithms for real-time particle identification.
