James Freericks course Mathematical and Computational Methods has been named as a Finalist for the 2023 edX prize. This class, currently taught by Leanne Doughty to Physics majors using the flipped class format, is also taught annually on edX to the general public. Every year, edX searches for the top MOOCs of the year, selecting ten finalists for the prize. This year, the class was selected as a finalist for the prize.
