Graduating physics students — Graduating physics majors demonstrating the right hand rule

Congratulations to the GU physics class of 2025!

During commencement weekend, faculty and staff celebrated with graduating students and their families and awarded this year’s undergraduate physics medals. Arden Dombalagian received the Kidwell Medal for outstanding academic achievement in physics, and Leah Chen and Jonathan Riess received the Treado Medal for excellence in physics coursework, research, and service to the department. Leah Chen, Lizzy Mohler, Jonathan Riess, and Jack Stocker were awarded the Serene Medal in recognition of outstanding senior theses. The graduating class included 4 PhD students, 18 physics/biological physics majors, and 2 minors.
