Georgetown SPS Receives Distinguished Chapter Award

For the second year in a row, the Georgetown Society of Physics Students was recognized by the national SPS council as a Distinguished Chapter. The award cites 2019-2020 efforts to build community and recruit prospective students, as well as the development of partnerships with GU Women in Physics and the Georgetown Institute for College Preparation. The chapter was led by co-Presidents Madison Ascione and Pia Bhatia, with Ed Van Keuren as faculty advisor.
