Alumnus Max Lefcochilos-Fogelquist publishes work based on undergraduate thesis
Max Lefcochilos-Fogelquist (C’17) is first author on the article “Substrate-induced suppression of charge density wave phase in monolayer 1H-TaS2 on Au(111),” which has been published in Physical Review B (https://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevB.99.174113 ). This computational study explores how the choice of substrate can affect charge density wave phases in two-dimensional materials. Max started this project for his senior thesis, working with graduate student Oliver Albertini and Prof. Amy Liu, and he later extended it as a post-graduate researcher.Attachments area
