Visit from Robert and Gwynne Edmund

The Physics department was honored to recently have a visit from Robert (B’70) and Gwynne Edmund. Robert is the former CEO of Edmund Optics, one of the world’s leading suppliers of optical components and expertise. The Edmund family is a long-time supporter of Georgetown and the Physics department in particular, with an annual gift of equipment that benefits numerous labs in the department, and it was a great opportunity to be able to show them how their support has helped the department.
