International students
Placing foreign students can be difficult — not insurmountable — due to employment restrictions, but there are still opportunities at multi-national corporation and within certain agencies. Our department has an extensive contact base that can facilitate this process.
Mentorship
Students are encouraged to engage with their industrial mentor on many different topics and to be as involved with them as they are able to donate their time. Be prepared with your short and long-term professional goals, relevant questions, and be receptive to their feedback. The department monitors student involvement in the mentoring program.
