Julian Davis wins People’s Choice Award at 2019 Bark Tank

Julian Davis (B’21), a management major and physics minor, was selected as a finalist to compete for the Leonsis Family Entrepreneurship Prize at the 2019 Bark Tank (new window) event. Julian pitched his business venture, StrawZero, to a panel of expert judges. Tackling the crisis of single-use plastic straw waste at its source, StrawZero is the first-ever easy-to-clean reusable straw system for restaurants. Julian’s presentation was a crowd pleaser, netting him the People’s Choice Award.
