Rae Robertson-Anderson (’03), Associate Professor and Chair of the Physics Department at the University of San Diego, mentored USD undergraduate researcher Stephanie Gorczyca in a project that won the American Physical Society’s 2016 LeRoy Apker Award for outstanding achievement in undergraduate research.  We can boast that Prof. Robertson-Anderson’s first peer-reviewed article came out of her own research experience as an undergraduate at Georgetown.  Congratulations, Rae and Stephanie!
